John Morlu is an accomplished C-level Executive with 25+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance. He is an expert in small business accounting and financial management, ensuring that our accounting system is DCAA compliant and financial management is audit ready. As CFO, he provides strategic advice, oversees accounting operations and financial management. John held senior and executive level positions in organizations including the European Union, BearingPoint, Unisys Corporation, Washington Metro Transit Authority and IREX (a nonprofit corporation). John’s professional experience also includes working for a telecommunication start-up (Teligent, Inc) and co-founding a technology start-up in Malaysia. He has worked in more than 18 countries on four continents.
John holds an MBA in Finance from Johns Hopkins University; a Masters in Commerce and Policy from George Mason University; and Bachelors degrees in Economics, and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. He holds multiple professional certifications including: Certified Public Accountant; Certified Internal Auditor; Certified Fraud Examiner; Certified Management Accountant; Certified Government Financial Manager; Certified Information System Auditor; and Certified Government Auditing Professional, etc.
