About the Presenter
Maria Asuelimen, Managing Partner of AMA Consulting LLC has over 16 years of leadership experience in the public and private sector. Maria’s expertise focuses on Organizational Development and Leadership. Her wealth of experience has been a great resource for civilian and defense agencies as well as federal contractors. Prior to starting AMA Consulting, Maria led a team of academic advisors at University of Maryland University College, worked at Federal Emergency Management Agency as a Management Analyst for economic recovery programs and managed a portfolio of over 100 firms for the U.S. Small Business Administration.
As Managing Partner of AMA Consulting, Maria leads a team that helps organizations nationwide, create and implement practical strategies to achieve their mission, navigate through tough problems and increase their performance. Maria is a Consultant, Trainer, Facilitator, and Executive Coach. Her expertise is working with leaders individually or in groups to uncover blind spots and unleash their already existing greatness.
Maria earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Maryland University College. Maria received her coaching training from the Georgetown University, Institute for Transformational Leadership in their Leadership Coaching Program. Maria is also Adjunct Faculty and the Prince Georges Community College.
