Leadership and Workforce Training:
- Health and Human Services – Food and Drug Administration – OPQ: AMA Consulting provided project management, change management, strategic planning organizational performance management using X-Matrix Design strategies, documentation development/analysis and updates, process analysis and baselining of processes, and development of competency models to attract/train/develop/retain highly competent personnel. AMA’s 6 FTE team reengineered 33 core processes to foster organizational improvement across the base organization and 8 sub-office organizations.AMA executed a workforce competency project for Office of Program and Regulatory Operations (OPRO) for 100 project managers. AMA provided management consulting, change management and facilitation services.
- Department of Education – Office of English Language Acquisition: AMA Consulting provided program management support to develop internal and external partnerships.
Executive Coaching:
- Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA): AMA Consulting provides various instructor led. project Management/ program Management and soft skills Trainings as a prime contractor on a multi-year BPA at Mark Center, VA and Monterey, CA.
- NASA – Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC): AMA developed and delivered a multiyear leadership development program for AFRC engineers and scientists. Program component included: MBTI® Assessment, training and executive coaching.
- Department of Education Office of the Chief Information Officer: AMA Consulting supports OCIO as a prime contractor, to provide experts for Assistive Technology Program (ITAP) for the entire Department. AMA was engaged to help streamline policy regarding the 508 and 504 efforts at Education. It helped to establish a charter for a Community of Action (COA) to provide education and outreach to the entire Department. Tasks include overall project management, 508 testing, needs assessments, strategic planning, records/data management, customer satisfaction surveys, policy development, correspondence tracking, and continuous process improvement of testing and service delivery processes.
Department of Education Office of Civil Rights (OCR): AMA Consulting supports OCR with web accessibility consulting services for educational institutions nationwide. Tasks includes: testing of educational institution websites, technical assistance and development of comprehensive reports, part of litigation.

Staff Augmentation
FDA CDER: In coordination with FDA CDER OCP stakeholders and leadership, AMA generates and evaluates information that is useful in proactive planning and decision-making. Evaluations include the identification of resources (human and other) that the organization can use to effectively improve its performance, needs that should be addressed through specific actions, and responses to a need or desire to improve the Agency’s performance,
Program and Process Optimization:
- FDA CDER: AMA is the primary Contractor responsible for develop a quality manual acceptable by the OPQ Senior Leadership Team that meets the spirit and intent of FDA QMS. In addition to a quality manual that aligns processes and procedures, AMA will develop a competency model and X-Matrix that aligns and clarifies the organization’s goals. The business process improvements will enable the Agency to run cooperativity across divisions.
Performance Management: Created performance management framework for Maryland SBDC to meet SBA/DLA’s goals for small business startups and growth.
Program Support and Technical Assistance: HHS Office of Minority Health TA support for Regional Health Equity Council
Strategy Articulation and Formation: AMA Consulting provides leadership development training courses and leadership coaching for SBDC clients throughout the state of Maryland. AMA Consulting trains/facilitates courses and University of Maryland, Frostburg University and College of Southern Maryland, Course topics include; leading an organization through change, foundation of entrepreneurship, leadership basics, coaching as a management intervention, team development, and business acumen. Leadership 101. Attendees of our course provide a 95% or better score on course evaluations and report that our Team Development course has provided them foundational knowledge to begin to build a highly effective team.
